I am new to flash photography. I've been photographing landscapes and wildlife for 14 years and thought I'd try my hand at portraits. This Sunpak PZ42X is the perfect complement to my photo equipment. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on the Canon 580 so after reading a lot of great reviews I went with it. Works great with bounce flash and is fully compatible with the capabilities of my Canon E-TLL-11. The manual settings are also very easy to use, and it has a built-in focus lens that works well with my Canon 18-55 3.5-5.6 IS lens. Go ahead, Sunpack! Just one more tip! Buy multiple battery packs. If, like me, you love playing with my new toys, feel free to eat some regular batteries! LAUGH OUT LOUD! I wholeheartedly recommend it to flash photography beginners and professionals who need a good remote flash.
