This is the first time I have had to fit a reed valve kit to my Hiblow HB80 and I was a little apprehensive but it is actually a very easy repair and the Hiblow website support videos have been really helpful. . If you try this and have an older pump (I have a 2009 model), watch out for the safety switch! At first I thought my repair failed, but I haven't installed the new safety switch yet (it's included and easy to install). After installing a new safety switch, my remanufactured pump is now working great and saved me the $500 my service provider was trying to charge me for a new pump. There are cheaper recovery kits at Revain, but I spent $80 on a real Hiblow. The replacement parts really helped eliminate many issues with this repair.
