I'm not even afraid to admit that I'm literally obsessed with these rechargeable LED cabinet/under cabinet lights. I have very similar open concept lights in my house and they work perfectly. If someone gets up to eat or runs to the bathroom, the light will turn on as soon as they see you and turn off after a few minutes of stillness. So I never have to worry about finding a light switch or walking in the dark. I change them and charge them every few days or a week. I ordered this black lamp for my relatives to install in the kitchen. I was happy to find it in a darker color as all I had was in white. I installed this under her closet and it works great. They also have manual activation of the cabinet lights, but I like them better. I went in to throw something in the trash and it appeared instantly, illuminating the dark kitchen. Everyone is happy about this gift.
