I almost returned them because they are a bit tight around my waist but after trying them on over and over again they were pretty darn comfortable and I decided to try them out. I prefer comfortable clothing that makes me feel like I'm wearing nothing and these tights were absolutely amazing. The enlarged crotch area gives your genitals that extra room you need for superior comfort and security, it just makes you feel better and it's very easy to urinate, a big plus for us guys. So far I've been wearing them on the bike and my feet feel snug, together and secure. These SKINS were very comfortable and I couldn't even tell I was wearing them. There were no restrictions on cycling, very nice. I wear cycling shorts or sweatpants over it without any problems. They help with recovery and cramps. After a few hours my legs feel great and my fear of calf cramps has decreased a bit. The waist size gives me a good reason to shed a few pounds and they will fit perfectly. I'm 6ft 200lbs and ordered a size up as per the size chart recommended. I have no idea what the compression is. Sometimes I wear medical compression at both 30-40mmHg and 20-30mmHg. I'm guessing it's something close to 20-30mmHg, but not quite if that makes sense. Compression yes, but simpler.
