About a week later so far so good. The lamp is bright, just like the original lamp. The cooling fan isn't up to full speed yet, which means the bulb doesn't get hot like many cheaper bulbs often do. In terms of ease of installation, it's very easy to change the light bulb in my device. So with a little care and understanding, this shouldn't be difficult on any machine. The price is a bit higher than some "replacement" bulbs, so time will tell the value for money.
