Review on 💦 Efficient Culligan WHR-140 WTR Filtration Cartridge Replacement - 1 Count Pack (White) by Pablo Rudon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The filter can be recharged.

I originally had a $45 filter that did an excellent job of removing chlorine and hardness from my water, but after 3 months it became so clogged that the flow was 1/5 less than without the filter . So, looking at $45 a quarter, I looked at the Culligan filter shower head. This filter didn't clog, but after a month my hair started to get stiff due to the local hard water. (I don't know how the Culligan can claim a 10,000 gallon lifespan.) This filter costs about $15, so the price per month seems to be the same. the tar softener of your espresso machine knows. Simply fill a glass that fits halfway into the filter with cold water, dissolve 2-3 teaspoons of salt and let the filter soak for 20-30 minutes. Wash and it's like new! That makes the Culligan filter an advantage, at least for my water. For those who want to know, the sodium in the salt replaces the minerals that have been extracted from the water and stored in the resin. This returns the resin to its original state, ready to absorb more minerals from your water.
