These Swiffer nozzles are very good at picking up dust and dog hair. The reason for the three stars is that they don't fit properly on the Swiffer staff. The seams that slide over the Swiffer fork are too tight and the whole thing too short. I really have to push, pull, and tug at each of these lobes on the handle, and every time I do I'm afraid I'll rip one right through. They have been washed and dried well, thankfully without shrinkage. I don't use fabric softeners or dryers, just Charlie soap and a hand wash cycle on my HE LG. Fit aside they are so much better than real Swiffer rods, I'm just not sure how many on and off times I'll get before one snaps right in the middle.
