When my job fell completely remote due to Covid I needed a much better home office chair. I'm a tall guy so I needed a big chair that could carry me 12+ hours a day. I would echo many of the other reviews for the most part. The chair is big, muscular and roomy - perfect for my large buttocks and thighs. That being said, it definitely lacks back support and I had to purchase a supportive memory foam pillow (which worked well for me) and I placed the pillow on the seat for extra cushion. I noticed that I had severe tailbone pain (yes, yes , laugh!) after sitting in a chair for several hours, but luckily a pillow helped. For the most part I was fine with these issues because this chair was reasonably priced, I know I have some unique back and skeletal issues and wasn't expecting to be sitting on a cloud. However, the chairlift mechanism has stopped working for about a month. I will raise the seat to the desired height, but after 10-15 minutes I notice the chair lowering. I'm well under the 400 pound mark so I know it's not a weight issue. I've found that my ankles are pressing down on the floor a lot because I'm sitting at a lower height now and I'm having pain in that area now. All in all, this chair is perfect. I wish the company could offer a lift that actually holds the weight it's supposed to hold. If you weigh over 300 pounds, you might want to consider something else. I think the 400 pound limit is rubbish.
