There's no protection in case the airtag comes out! Mine fell out in the parking lot of our local grocery store, which is in an area with no cell service so I couldn't find it using Find My. Two days later, someone walked him into the store, but not before he was hit by a car and spent the day in the rain. How ironic, how frustrating and frustrating it is to lose a device that was supposed to help me find my keys when I lose them. Obviously it's not tight enough. I'm sad...frustrated...frustrated...frustrated. My Airtag is now down and cannot connect. Do yourself a favor and learn from my BIG mistake and avoid such cases. Absolutely BAD design! Five thumbs down!
