Curved wiper blade? Why?

There is a serious flaw in the design of this mop. The blade is curved, so you have to apply (considerable) pressure to get the entire edge of the blade to touch the glass surface. Anyone who has used a mop to clean their car window (or any other glass surface) knows that you don't have to squeeze the mop to wipe off the water. This scraper requires too much pressure and therefore does not do its job well because you cannot maintain the necessary pressure in all positions on the glass. As a result, you get a lot of wide stripes. I have to admit, I used to think that you have to put pressure on the squeegee. As soon as someone showed me that this is not the case, I realized that all you have to do is pop on REALLY old and worn-out mops. I think this company decided that most people use pressure so they curved the blade to make you feel like they were doing the right thing. Do yourself a favor and get another squeegee. They don't have a curved blade (I have 5 different squeegees now that I'm testing). Other squeegees I've used wear out over time and the ends of the blades curl. Now I think the solution is to buy another cheap scrubber every 4-5 months (we clean the shower after every shower. We have a new 1/2 inch thick expensive seamless glass shower stall. We want to try glass to slow turbidity due to micropitting).
