I have to admit that I felt nostalgic for the retro 80's when I unpacked this vintage boombox. It's a bit "lighter" than the ones I've had before, with a shiny silver body and shiny chrome trim. It sounds slightly better than similarly sized radios I've compared it to. Why is my rating only three stars? Side built-in USB port/embedded digitizing features didn't work for me! The included card promised that the manufacturer was committed to helping customers resolve any issues, but I was unable to get any help over the phone or via email. As I bought it to digitize my tapes into computer format this was a big disappointment. I can still do this by connecting a patch cord from the device's headphone jack to my computer, but that only works with an older computer that has an audio input. As for a small cosmetic note, the radio pointer was slightly crooked.
