Does what I need

There are a few things that make it better. It comes with a hex wrench but has no handle for easy opening and closing of the vise. I was able to shorten the key length and use Jet-Set (thermoplastic) to create a handle on a shorter key. Metric hex fitting handles are available but you will need to purchase the whole set. My molded pen isn't pretty, but it works. Otherwise there are a number of accessories but no real explanation of how best to use them. So far the vise has helped to set the stone, hold parts with a file etc. Haven't tried engraving yet. Overall I think
