I have to say I was concerned about this product. It came with a broken part and twice a replacement was sent that didn't fit. But it shows that the company stands behind their product - they sent me the whole product again. I found that they changed the way some parts connect. Anyway, I'm a 63 year old female and unboxed and assembled it in 1 1/4 hours. I was surprised at how well the items were packaged. They also updated the directions with better pictures, directions and as a booklet instead of sheets. Take your time. Clear the table to spread out all the gear - there are more of these than you think, but they give you extra options and are labeled for clarity. Make sure you have enough room to move around without knocking things over, and use a blanket or something on the floor to protect the pieces until they're assembled. Oh, they changed something else. The wood on the three sides of the drawer is cheaper than the first product I received, so don't over-tighten the screws. I did and cracked one page but I will use the box from the first one. When I unboxed my first it was black all over, but now it's only on top so imperfections around the edges might be more noticeable. And the stand isn't brilliant white, so doesn't quite match my white wall panels. Overall, however, I am very happy with this product and extremely happy with the company's customer service. As for durability and ease of cleaning, it will be a while to tell, but right off the bat this is a piece of durable furniture. Update after a few years - still have them, still love them, great quality.
