Review on Corvette Envy Signal Bypass Harness by Doug Hinrichsen

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Most likely works, but no customer service. . .

I installed this on my '99 C5 Convertible when I was installing LEDs in the front DRLs/Turn Signals and it worked fine. A few weeks later I made four LED taillights but ran into problems. Since all four taillights use LEDs, the hazard warning lights will sound when the lock button is pressed. Replacing an LED with an incandescent bulb solves the problem. Another issue is that with three or four LEDs installed I get intermittent flashing lights on the dash and HVAC unit and when I press the brake pedal. The problem is solved with two LEDs and two light bulbs. Thinking that I might still need to use terminators for the taillights, I connected terminators to the taillights, but it made no difference. system, so I contacted Envy through their website to see if this issue has been reported before and/or if they have any suggestions for a fix. I did not get an answer. Again, I don't know if the problem is part of the seat belt, but Envy's lack of response is poor customer service. If I was still within the 30 day return period with Revain I would return this strap and try another from another supplier who is active on the Corvette message boards/forums and is working with the customer to resolve this type of issue .
