Seller Chris Evan Industries emailed me some FAQs and a link to a video showing how to activate the batteries before I received the product. A note: although the video only shows a battery divider preventing the batteries from working, I found 2 dividers in one of the flashlights. So if you find the light doesn't work after removing the splitter, unscrew the light again and find another splitter.
