Overall a good SD card reader. The case already has front ports, but nobody seems to make HTPC cases with an SD slot in the style I prefer. I also needed it to fit in the 3.5-inch bay; The 5.25 inch bay was occupied by my media drive. My (InWin) case is slightly different in that there is a 3.5" card reader bay which is shorter as the case fan takes up some of that space. I don't know if that will sound like a lot of people, but make sure you have a spare 3.5" bay as the 20-pin USB3 cable is very narrow. Even trimming the frame and removing part of the middle still made the USB cable too long for what I had. A 90° USB adapter *doesn't* work. I had to bend the cable quite a bit, tie it to itself and thread the cable through the hole I cut for it. However, this is my fault, not ByEasy's. I suspect this will fail sooner rather than later. , as well as a 20-pin connector on the back of the board located above this hole, instead of a USB connector, you could easily get 90°, at least for dummies like me who can't drive a ruler. very strong, so cutting off those parts didn't weaken it at all. d for these modifications. Speaking of modifications, I must point out one clear minus. I don't know why I'm irrationally sad, but I do. Despite the fact that there is no logo on the face in all the photos and people have asked and answered, there is no logo on the face. the logo is printed on the front instead of the sticker. So: light sanding and two coats of matte black spray paint fixed it. Since this also covered the descriptors of each connection, I used a bright, broad-tipped oil paint pen and traced the edges of each of them on the front panel.
