I've been trying to find a durable cup holder for my car that doesn't require me to look down and off the road. So I tried WeatherTech's cup holder. They have so many ads everywhere, it's the least I could do. Well, it was probably the sturdiest mount I've tried, but it was very low. It doesn't have adjustable arm height (which is why it's so stable), but I had to take my eyes so far from the windshield to see the screen that it became unsafe. I cannot endorse or approve of a product that takes you off the road so abruptly. I've tried other similar holders, but not only were they extremely unstable and wobbly, they didn't sit very securely in my cup holder, which has a wide gap between the two - and their arms still weren't high enough to be considered secure are valid. Enter the Andobil 13" cup holder mount. This thing felt premium right out of the box. Materials felt strong, sturdy and smooth. No sharp edges, very polished and clean. And it has some neck weight to a Custom fit almost any size coaster (whether or not there's a large gap between coasters) The gooseneck takes some effort to position correctly, but that's a good thing - it means the neck is stiff and in place Place stays.The neck is also rubber wrapped giving a polished feel to the top of the device.Typical ball clamp that does a heroic job with a rubber pad in the clamp of holding even my heavy phone in place when it's right My biggest complaint about these Andobil devices is the use of plastic on key details like the ball and clamp domini ert (I'm sure this is a money-saving solution, otherwise this subst acannik can cost more in the $50-60 range). However, this cup holder does a fantastic job of keeping my phone much closer to my line of sight. The neck is a whopping 13 inches and I can hold my phone flush with the dash (very important for safety). I can look at my phone to the right of the steering wheel without taking my eyes off it. Finally, the stand of this device feels solid, with clips on either side that hold my phone securely in place. It doesn't look cheap. The clips on the stand are covered in foam rubber (along with the bottom where the phone sits. The device seems to protect my phone and doesn't seem to scratch any phone it's used with. It has a gap for the charging cable to be in used without having to thread the cord through the hole after the phone (Great feature!) Overall this was the best cup holder I've tried for my car, especially nice if your cup holders are low (like right in front or behind the shift lever). ) I like it. I like it because if I need to take it off and use the drink coasters, the handle can be rotated etc. The unit is easy to remove and replace. It's so little effort it's almost effortless Andobil for making yet another great product!
