It took me a while to find a 100% natural and biodegradable toothbrush! I hate soft nylon bristles because I don't think they really remove all residue, but when I first tried this toothbrush it was just as thorough as my electric toothbrush! The developers have got softness and hardness right where it won't hurt your gums, but they stay intact even with gentle brushing! I've been using 2 toothbrushes for almost 3 months now (one for home, one for travel) and even including the travel toothbrush in my toiletry bag the bamboo hasn't gone bad at all! I love them and give them to all my friends and family because it is better not to harm the flora and fauna. I love sea turtles too, so this is a win-win!
