I used it with 600 denier nylon canvas to make a lampshade and banner. Be careful - make sure your sewing machine can handle it - it's a lot thicker than any regular thread. You should be able to adjust the top and coil tension and a cheap machine doesn't need that at all. It will pull some of the pieces so they will bend out of shape forever - I did this with one of mine! But if you need to sew something on the outside and you need something strong that won't rot in a year or so, this is a great thread.
