Our home has wood flooring throughout, but we need a touch of softness here and there. We added this rug to our living room and it has transformed the entire feel of the room. When we gather there and walk across this super luxurious rug, the peacefulness of the room is amplified and more welcoming. It quiets the space visually with the soft print and by lessening the hard-surface echo.The quality of the rug is evident from the moment you receive it. Our room-sized rug shipped folded in a box and I expected some fold lines to take a while to flatten out. Removing the rug and laying it out on the floor showed none of that. The backing did not have memory from shipping, and it lay perfectly flat the first time down. I love this and am now looking for a twin for our bedroom.
