Cute earrings and they are very small. I got them for tragus and front helix piercings. I had never altered a tragus before so I knew this would be a problem, but it was a lot harder than I thought. They are deployed from back to front and with the help of a second person we were able to successfully deploy one of them. I thought it would be a lot harder to unscrew the top given how small it is, but it really isn't. It is difficult. It will probably be quite difficult for someone who has never changed their jewelry, but it's definitely worth it for me, I think it looks so good. I haven't tried changing my straight helix yet, but I can only imagine it's just as difficult
