This desk looked very beautiful and I was excited to get it but very disappointed after receiving it and removing parts from the packaging. The laminate was chipped on a corner and peeling off and there were several blemishes. I believe this would be a beautiful table with a five star rating but even with blemishes I can't assemble it because the steel crossbar was welded incorrectly and unusable. Hoping customer service will resolve my issue in a timely manner since this table was intended to be a gift.Update: customer service was excellent and eager to help me find a solution to this issue and I'm very happy with the outcome and I love this desk. I would definitely recommend.
