I use these headphones to listen to music from my phone and tablet while I work out – mostly when I'm walking, but sometimes when I'm hiking. They allow me to listen to podcasts and music while walking and hiking, making both activities more enjoyable. Because they're more fun, I train longer, which of course is good for my health. The sound quality is pretty good - as you would expect from small headphones, the bass isn't amazing, but it sounds very good. The highs sound a little "bright" to my liking, but I'm not a "gold-eared audiophile" so that might just be me. They are quite loud and I usually like to turn up the volume as I had hearing loss as a child from working on machines without hearing protection. I tested the noise cancellation by wearing it around the house. They easily blocked out most household noises, which was nice. Unfortunately they didn't stop my wife from yelling at me to get off my lazy ass and mow the lawn. I could still hear her yelling at me. Ha ha ha just kidding I love mowing the lawn and my wife doesn't yell at me so none of that happened so I thought it would be fun to post. Seriously, the noise-cancellation is good, but not as good as something you might put in your ear. But that's part of the point of these in-ear headphones, I don't want anything in my ear! Bottom line, good little headphones.
