Love it and the customer service is the best! I've been using this product for about a month now and can't believe my pup has changed. I have 7 months. an old lab that kept jumping over my fence, along with many other nuanced behaviors. Building a larger fence was not possible due to HOA rules. So, after doing a lot of research on invisible fences, I settled on this one. It had everything I was looking for at a reasonable price. Distance learning is great! I never thought of letting go of the leash before. Because she just flew away and I chased her for the next 20 minutes. Because of the remote she now comes when I call her and best of all I never had to SHOCK her. She responded by just using clay and now I don't need it at all. There have been many conflicting reviews on this product but this is what I found. The cross-section of the wire was just the right size. If it were thicker it would be difficult to work with as it is solid copper. However, its length is slightly shorter. I have a little over half an acre with two gates that I put a fence in front of which adds about 20 meters to the total distance. How deep, and lo and behold, I was about 20 meters shy with the line. So if you have more than 1/4 acre, you need more line. The battery lasts as long as advertised. If you use a trainer and fence, you should charge the collar every other day. If you only use one fence it can take up to a week. (The collar is only meant to be worn a few hours a day anyway.) One review I read said it had flimsy wire clasps. It's true, one of mine broke while inserting the wire, but that was easy enough to fix.
