Review on 💡 Halogen Spotlight Bulb Equivalent with Wide Beam Angle by Ronny Goodman

Finding LEDs that both run on 120v (not 12v) and are dimmable for this application has been very difficult. My 10 year old Minka Aire fans use 120V MR-16 with the same pins as the 12V fans. As the LEDs are a bit longer than standard halogen bulbs I had to modify them by cutting the body to remove the lens as it is convex and protrudes a bit. (see photo). It doesn't matter as the bulb fits perfectly into the lens in the mount - the solid glass in the fan housing. Everything I need for these fans. However, if you don't want to modify the lightbulb, they won't work for you.
