I bought two Tripp Lite monitor surge protectors from Revain and the only good thing is that they arrived on time with no damage. After the second day of use, the main switch on two did not stay in the ON position when pressed. This was necessary many times until they finally stayed on to keep the safety devices on. Luckily for me, the wall switch controls the outlets these 2 are plugged into, so I have to resort to that to turn them on and off. I didn't want to return them for an exchange or refund because I don't have any other monitor screen protectors and nobody seems to make them like they used to. As long as I can control these defenders with the light switch, it should be. I hope that nobody has or will have the same problem as me. I don't blame Revain for the defect - it's due to Tripp's poor workmanship.
