I'm completely satisfied with the product, it works.

I took it for such a scheme. I wanted to speed up my old wifi router. It would be possible to buy a new one, for 7-10 thousand. But get only the old functions + 5 GHz. And maybe a more stable connection. This is if Mikrotik. But there is no money yet, I decided to do so. I bought this TP-LINK RE305, wired it to the base router. Turned off wifi at the base. And RE305 placed in the middle of the apartment. The apartment is small, the power was enough. It suited me.

Pros

Wi-Fi signal amplifier (repeater) TP-LINK RE305 is exactly what I needed. All the declared characteristics and nothing more. Small, fits directly into the outlet, pretty stylish.

Cons

TP-LINK RE305 is one big downside. Since it is positioned as a repeater. Even its name is RE(piter). But it is precisely in this capacity that it cannot be used. I could not set up to receive wifi 2.4 with the subsequent distribution of wifi 5GHz and did not. I didn't take it for this. Connected by wire to the router. And from it connected the distribution of wifi. The signal strength is very weak, even at full power. Gets hot. Let's see how long it lasts.
