It is a very successful hybrid of amateur and professional cameras. Before buying, I asked to check for broken pixels. Fortunately, they were not found. The check cost 800, but with the cost of the camera itself more than 55,000, this is a trifle. And it's not every day that you make such expensive purchases. I have long been accustomed to the fact that Canon makes cameras in Taiwan. This one is made in Japan. A trifle, but nice. If you have previously dealt with amateur Canon cameras (for example, 600D, like me), then switching to 70D will not be difficult for you. For example: the "MENU", "INFO" and "Delete" buttons remained the same as in the 600D. The "View" and "Delete" buttons are spread on opposite sides of the "SET" button - you won't mix it up anymore. The large handle-holder allows you to relax your hand quite strongly. A good wrist strap will insure. There is plenty of room for your thumb on the back. Accidental button presses are unlikely. The pad under the finger does not slip and does not stain. The upper LCD screen has a pleasant orange backlight. The button to turn it on is located nearby on the top panel, to the right of the other buttons. Don't miss in the dark. My main lens used is the Tamron 16-300. Thanks to a more powerful processor on the 70D than on the 600D, the lens focuses noticeably faster both through the viewfinder and in Live View. When shooting in Live View, the battery lasts only 200 frames (through the viewfinder up to 1300 frames), so such shooting is force majeure, and not commonplace. Thanks to weather protection, the 70D with the Tamron 16-300 lens, which also has it, makes a great travel companion. Somewhere near the battery cover is a lock. If you have not closed it, the camera will not turn on. There is not a single word about the “B” mode in the brief instructions (162 pages) that comes with the camera. There is only a full 468-page manual about it, which is easy to download in PDF format.
