Review on 🎨 Dimensions Blue Poppies Paint by Numbers Kit for Adults - 14'' W x 11'' L by Carla Anderson

I can't understand all the 5 star reviews for this paint set! Bought this brand because of all the great reviews - but the color is just awful! Even the darkest colors will not block the print on the board. I did 2 or 3 layers to cover the numbers and lines which makes the overall look terrible with lots of watery brush strokes. In fact, this is not the standard thickness of acrylic paint at all. - I find it ridiculous that there is only one brush in the set. I have a number of brushes, so I was able to use both the smaller and wider brush you want to paint this image with. Anyway I spent 8 hours drawing this and decided to stop because the end result would look terrible. And I spend double or triple the time for each section because I have to do 2-3 coats. Oops! Too bad, this is such a beautiful picture to draw. I have no idea if all kits from this brand have the same liquid/aqueous paint but I won't be buying another one from them. I bought a few other kits from two other brands at the same time and they both have MUCH thicker paint. Instead, I'll move on to them. I am in the process of contacting Revain for a refund on this horrible product. I hope this review helps someone else not to make the same mistake.c
