Review on 🧡 Efficient and Durable: Wm Smith Son Assorted Sailmakers Sewing for Smooth Sailing by Kelly Caballes

Can a needle be a work of art?

Seems like there's a lot to tell about needles, but there it is! I'm a fool when it comes to sewing; I can attach a button or fix a broken backpack strap, but that's all. So I always thought a needle was a needle, so I always bought the cheapest needle in the size I needed. But on a whim I decided to buy something better for hiking and camping after breaking a cheap pin so I settled on this one. And I have to say it's shocking how good they are! They seem less manufactured than created. If you were to display a needle in a museum, it would probably be a Wm Smith & Son needle! They are very precisely machined with a clean triangular point, extremely sharp. The eyes appear to be carved and the overall effect is the result of craftsmanship. They have very little flexibility and you can immediately see that they are much stronger than the ones you get at Wal-Mart. They are so much better than what I'm used to that I just ordered a bigger pack. I plan to keep two or three of these in a small tube that I can hide in various backpacks and pockets. you can get at Wal-Mart.
