If you have an XL pressure cooker or another brand of pressure cooker that this product will fit in, you should probably order this part now to be safe as you will end up losing the seal in the sink. Once I was lucky enough to find a rubber disk when I lost it, but the second time I wasn't so lucky. For less than $10, you can get a 10-cent rubber washer to keep using your $75+ pressure cooker and have a replacement for the life of your pressure cooker. Bad design and manufacturer should deliver extra. Also, you probably just want a rubber washer that costs a dime and a few bucks will get you 10, but that's another story. Wandering if the Instant Pot has such a bad design? Probably not, but there is something to consider when buying a pressure cooker.
