There are a few problems with them: First, the fit and finish is rough. You can feel it when you hold it in your hand. They had to be deburred in the tumbler as they feel like sharp edges. Second, the D-ring hinge is positioned so that the axis of the ring is over the base of the head. So when you unroll the ring to rotate it, it won't be fully seated. To improve this, you have to flip the D-ring down and tighten it with a flathead screwdriver, which defeats the purpose of the D-ring and requires a separate tool. Even then, it still doesn't sit fully upright. You can tell they are not heavy duty in any way, they don't feel like aluminum but they definitely feel like electroplated metal. I know they're cheap but I'd argue I could live with any other downside if they at least worked properly as it's only a temporary fix.
