A few months ago, I made the purchase, and I was content with everything up to the point where the house almost caught fire. The fact that the kit does not come with an adaptor for the plug is something that a lot of people have a problem with, but I was one of the lucky ones who got it. And it was only now, after analyzing the comments, that I discovered that it was not just me who fused. I made the decision to write so that there would be no more instances such to the one we had that day since we were at home. The odor is unbearable, the smoke is rising like a column, and the fork is completely melted! They were unable to determine what was burning in the chimney at first glance. We are going to keep using the kettle even if it has a standard adaptor. Please exercise extreme CAUTION, and if at all possible, purchase an additional adapter that is dependable and of good quality.
