So first of all. big mushroom head. There is approximately 5 inches of material between the top of the head and the outer helmet. This is made worse by the fact that there isn't any material to speak of under the tip of the ear. The materials appear collected and solid. I have a head circumference of 60 cm and bought the size XL. It was thick and flat. If I were to order again, I would try XXL. I noticed a lot of wind noise when trying it out for my only ride with a helmet before returning it. The side walls absorb a lot of air. At 50 km/h and more (I don't have a windscreen) it was quite annoying.
