I used to have a Bialetti that I recently (stupidly) put in the dishwasher and had to replace. I figured maybe I'll try something different this time and ordered this product. I just received my package and opened the box. The first thing that caught my eye was the finish of the rubber grip. Of course I knew it was rubber, but the look wasn't as elegant as I had hoped. But well. I then opened the top compartment and immediately decided to return this item. It was just disgusting. What is the delayed white chemical? Glaze? Whatever it is, I'm not going to cook moka in this pot. I am just sad.
