This aviary is so light and so poorly anchored to the ground that I cannot imagine keeping birds in it unless you have been watching them all the time. The only way to keep it on the ground was to lay heavy patio stones on the fabric at each corner and in the middle. The straps are ineffective and the loops that are supposed to fasten them slip off them. Since there are only six of them, the distance between the loops is enough for a determined bird to get under the sides. I was hoping for something easily portable and it wasn't like I had to weigh it down. Then there's the problem of putting it back in your pocket. I easily spent 45 minutes (using the video) putting it together. I didn't succeed and that convinced me to return it. A very disappointing article.
