Great little ride and fast too.

Great little drive and fast. It is very light and it seems that there is nothing in it. I'm assuming it's solid. I bought it because my old external hard drive failed and I lost all my photos I had on it (pre cloud) from 1999 to 2015. I'm still devastated by the loss. I've tried all sorts of recovery software, opened it up, plugged in a new SATA cable - and nothing. I feel better using an SSD, but I'll still backup everything to the cloud because they say there's next to nothing you can do if the SSD fails to recover your files.
