Just started testing this cable a few weeks after yesterday's install and found I'm getting 100Mbs - yeah, not once 1GB. I tried several patch cords without success, 100 Mbit/s. I then replaced my keystones (cheap on eBay but rated 6A) but still no luck. I thought it was the cable. I made a cable the same length as the one I installed in the wall, put keystones on it and used the same 6A patch cords (purchased from Revain). I have 1GB. I thought it must be this cable. I then connected RJ45 to both ends using spade lugs I bought from Revain for 6A. Boom, I got 10Gb/s from my Mac to a MicroTik switch with the cheapest transceiver I could find on Revain (note the NIC is an ASUS card with an Quanta chipset running a Mac Pro is working). I then rebooted the Mac Pro into Windows, the exact same hardware has 3GB on one server and 6GB on the other (MTU was set to 9000). Windows automatically negotiated a 10GB connection when I looked at Network Adapters in the Control Panel. So look for it if you can't get a 10GB connection in iperf. It can connect to 10GB and will not ship to Windows. I've made patch cords from this cable using the lugs I bought from Revain and installed new ones very carefully, but same brand, Keystone and everything works with the cable I installed in the wall at 10Gbps. Now I only trust this cable!
