Functionality and appearance
I know these from my childhood. I had just painted my countertops Giani paint and wanted to protect them from the heat. I took the large size to put under the toaster and the long and narrow size next to the stove to serve as a place for hot meals. They look good and work well. Would give another star if they were a little stiffer. They clean up easily but aren't as sturdy as the ones I used years ago. You can bend it if you're not careful.
