After I plugged the USB stick into my laptop and put a battery in this mouse (requires only one) after the PC finally found it, the mouse worked for about two minutes long. After that he fell asleep and even when I moved him he didn't wake up. Reseating the key didn't work, nor did reseating the battery (which was brand new). Luckily, in the same order as this mouse, I bought another one from a major manufacturer. I switched the battery to this one and after adding the correct second battery I've been using it ever since. There is "cheap" and there is "cheap". This mouse is a cheap POS. Buyer Warning.
