For most of the 12V car cigarette lighter sockets, I used this splitter because while I was waiting for my car heater repair, I bought two portable car heaters and connected them to this splitter. I then plugged the splitter into my car's cigarette lighter socket - within minutes this finished splitter melted my car's cigarette lighter plate and cost me $300 to replace the cigarette lighter socket. Since most car cigarette lighters are rated for 12 volts, anything you plug into this splitter will overload the 12 volt cigarette lighter unless you are using 2-6 volt cells, which is what happened here. This product is useless and will most likely damage your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
