I bought this replacement bulb because I wanted to keep using my BenQ W1070 after the bulb burned out. This is my second non-OEM lamp that I have installed in this projector and the installation in the W1070 housing can be completed in 15-30 minutes if you follow the step-by-step instructions on YouTube. I chose this lamp because my last non-original lamp lasted at least 2000 hours. I've been using it for a month now (several days a week) and so far it looks as bright and colorful as my lamps. In my experience, buying third-party brands is a much cheaper way to get the same or nearly identical image quality. Official manufacturer lamps are very expensive, so for less than half the price I'm happy if the lamp lasts at least 2000 hours.
