Review on 🔥 Kidde Hardwired Smoke Detector with Battery Backup & Interconnect: LED Lights & Enhanced Safety by Adam Whittaker

I have replaced 3 Firex ionization smoke detectors (model g-6) with 3 kiddie photo detectors (fewer false alarms) (model p12040). Both units are 120v. The new unit also has a backup battery. The main difficulty was finding the circuit breaker to turn off. I had to install new plugs (included) on the alarm but it was just a matter of connecting the house wiring with 3 nuts (reused originals). To my pleasant surprise, the new mounting flange was slightly larger than the previous one, which closed the open gap in the drywall. Good instructions followed, tested the equipment and the job was done in about 40 minutes.
