A bit jerky when switching from one direction to the other.
It does the job, but if you use it to move back and forth 1/4 turn it will shake the unstable object. I use it to take videos of rings to sell online and if the ring isn't laying flat it wobbles when it changes direction. There is also a hum of its own that can be heard in the video.
