I discovered these forks while looking for a responsible solution for an April event. They are literally green and compostable! Not thin at all either. Although the plugs are more expensive than the cheap, flimsy one-offs that are available everywhere, I'm very happy with my choice of Earth. Since corn is readily available, its cost makes me wonder, but I hope it becomes more affordable over time.
