Dangerous. I have 2 kittens that stay in this cage when we are not home. I've had this cage for a few months now. Three times one of my kittens got his claws stuck between the cage wire and the platforms and nearly lost his toe. Have you ever heard a cat squeak? The hair stands on end and frightens. Twice I had to try to free my toe to avoid pinching it with needle nose pliers by pulling back on the cage wire. One time it's a ridiculous accident, the second time it becomes a problem, the third time it's life threatening and likely happens every time they step in the cage. Last time it was a scene from a horror movie. I've taken out the trash and I hear a freezing scream, my 5 year old daughter's scream, a cat's screeching and my dog's voice like it's about to attack someone. I dropped the trash I was carrying and ran inside to see a black kitten hanging from one of the upper platforms and my dog jumped up to see what was going on and she was clinging to his snout and attacked him .destroys his face. My mother hung on her toe and attacked my dog. My mom had to slap the cat to get it out of my dog's face, blood all over. The cat attacked my mother while she was still dangling. and none of us can touch her because she is mad with pain and in full attack mode and she is tearing my mother's arms and her arms are now my mother's blood flying everywhere. My daughter is still screaming and the cat is still howling. I grab the dachshund, which is now detached from the cat, throw him bleeding into the bedroom and slam the door. By this time, my mother had managed to snatch the cat's snout from her hand and the cat miraculously fell out and was back in the cage on the platform. My mother ended up in the hospital after being attacked with deep stab wounds and a serious infection. 2 weeks later my mother is still in treatment; one hand is so swollen that the fingers do not bend, and the saddest thing. The cat was never the same. She is 9 months old and marked for life. We can't even touch them. She is scared to death of us and is traumatized by the accident; not understanding what caused it all, just remembering and relating the pain and chaos to the incident. NO. TO BUY. THE. CELL.
