It works great once you learn how to use it properly. Watch a YouTube video on how to apply. When I first got tired of it, I thought maybe I could use it to pull my naturally thick 4b/c hair into a nice ponytail. NOT CORRECT! Doesn't hold that much textured hair in place lol. But it helped to style my fine baby hair. Again, I recommend watching YouTube videos for best results.
