Review on Enhanced Performance Intake Manifold - Edelbrock 2716 EPS by Jordan Perez

Can't really blame the manifold - it's a quality part. But this is not suitable for my application. I thought my heads were "Vortec" but they were actually "Swirl" making "Vortex" - cast iron heads from 1987 to 1990 or so - basically "TBI heads" aren't Vortec heads! True Vortec heads were only available for a few years before they switched to LT1 engines. It was my fault, not this product's fault, but as I found out, this error is common. So be sure you have Vortec heads and they will work just fine. I had the distributor for months while waiting to get it fixed at a local shop so it was too late for me to return the distributor when I was told it didn't fit. Nobody wants to buy a new manifold?
