Review on Bluwee Extension 90 Degree Female Extender by Adam Stone

Product does what I want, but I don't think it's what I want. I have a Roku streaming stick that plugs into my TV's HDMI port. The Roku continues to overheat, causing a horrible squeak at random times. So I've read online (yes, yes, trusting the internet) that adding an HDMI extender can help reduce the heat the Roku is exposed to from the TV, thus solving the overheating problem. I've been testing the extender for the last hour and the Roku is just as hot as ever. I doubt the extension is the problem. The great thing about this extender is that I don't experience any latency between my Roku and the TV. Update 09/06/18: The extension works! I haven't heard that horrible squeak since I've used it. 😊
