I bought one from another website for home use and it was the most disappointing docking station I've used in the last 20+ years. Works when he wants. Even the Dell TB-16, the proverbial PITA at my workplace, is far more reliable than this one. And if you have a high-performance laptop with a 130W power adapter, you need to use that power adapter in addition to powering this docking station. If you only need a single display or just run Windows and don't need faster video than Full HD at 30Hz, buy a quality UCB-C base hub with similar connectivity for half the price or less. They work great, no problem. I'm kinda stuck as I need multiple displays and running multiple OS's. I think the occasional headache is the price of this feature. PRO - Supports multiple displays without having to rely on pure Windows software features - Convenient audio, network and USB ports all work well - Supports USB-C/DisplayPort for broad compatibility (no Thunderbolt) CON - Poor Performance of connected USB devices - Insufficient output power for high-performance CPU or GPU models (130W) - Laptop and docking station must be turned off, unplugged and restarted several times to recover from a power outage - Not for high-performance videos /-games (no thunderbolt) - sleep mode/ sleep is often missing. One star off for reliability. One star off for performance.
